Awful returns policy and customer service and I will never buy from the company again. I have had exactly the same experience as previously mentioned by other customers. Returned my goods on the 29 December to the address they state, they received them on the 31st December and yet I still have no refund!! Everything has to go back to a certain warehouse in the Netherlands apparently and so proof of postage in the UK stands for nothing.
They have never contacted me to explain the delay and I have had to chase them entirely. They don't even bother to read emails just send generic replies! Apparently it's all down to Brexit and yet I managed to return a fridge to Germany in January and get a full refund. Latest sob story is the snow!! Today I have been told that I should get my money back by Friday but that's what they said last week! I will be contacting my credit card company if I do not receive payment by the end of this week.

I placed a order on December 1st was given a delivery date of December 11th there never was any info on order until the 9th. The tracking info I was given has never changed it still states usps is awaiting package customer service is a joke wont do anything wont even replace the order and upgrade the shipping. I was told on December 4th that it was getting ready to ship every time I speak to someone it's a load of bull. This was a Christmas gift for my husband and this was my first time ordering with carhartt which it'll be my last. Its obvious the package never left the warehouse. 12/17/20 I have reached out 14 times and it doesnt do any good bc nobody at carhartt wants to help they say the same crap over and over that it's been shipped well usps still says they dont have package and yall wont do anything till the 21st or later. Update 12/30/20 package never came had to call twice to get a refund.

The website and in store have different…

The website and in store have different items.
I looked at the website and love to buy something from carhartt. As I don't want to wait. I just want to go to the shop which is not far. But they told me they not have it. Not even going to have them. And also you can't order to collect in store. The only thing you can do is to buy online over 90 pounds for free delivery. If you have on website why not sell in store? Or at least you could let people order and collect in store.
I also email to store but no reply.
So rude. don't care about customers. Don't worry about lose customers. Not surprised here is very bad reviews.
Retail business is suffering now. Clearly you don't care.

Throw another log on the fire

Throw another log on the fire. Carhartt used to make durable clothing. Maybe they still do, but it’s not worth dealing with their ridiculous customer service.
When you get frustrated with their interminable “brief moments” on hold and try email, you get an auto response indicating a 72 response time.

I have always loved the Carhartt brand but …

I have always loved the Carhartt brand quality and comfort with a stylish twist for woman's work clothing.
Unfortunately living in Canada I must order online paying a $30 shipping charge, which is understandable, but when an item description states "relaxed fit" for t-shirt's in both the long sleeved and short sleeved, common sense would prevail and one would order the same size in both items. Well this is not the case with Carhartt, now I must return the short sleeve t-shirt and repay $30 shipping to get the large as they do not have an exchange policy, leaving us Canadian's in the cold. 20 years I have been buying and wearing Carhartt, but the product does not make economical sense when a $30 t-shirt cost me $60 shipping :-(

Shambles

Shocking service. 4 weeks no refund. Hollow excuses. I would not recommend. The only thing I can recommend is checking these websites before you buy.

How can we return items?

We ordered two pairs of shoes which unfortunately were not suitable. Went to the local UPS store to return. They said we did not have the correct forms and to contact Carhartt. We tried a number of times to call but all the recorded message says is to call back.
We have now sent two emails over the last week without any acknowledgement or help. Very poor service. We trust that they will contact us soon.

Returns & refunds extremely poor.

Returned jeans that were too large and received at Swindon depot on 28th. Jan - over 5 weeks ago. After numerous emails still no refund received. Excuse is Brexit & Covid as they have to be returned to Holland. I suggest avoiding this company especially when you see the same comments written by several other. Very frustrating!

Another to add to the list - Returns!!

Another to add to the list.
Total incompetence when it comes to a return, told 14 working days after they receive item, next copy and paste email told me 21 - 23 working days, still nothing.
Great items, when purchased in the USA, experience over here is beyond embarrassing.
Update - generic response below, 7 days after emailing the provided address, no response. Utter joke.
Have contacted credit card company for a refund.

Shocking service - would award on stars if I could

Bought three pouches before Christmas, one each for my three daughters. Two were delivered, but the other was the labelled wrongly and hence I got two the same colour. Unbelievably arrogant initial response from David in 'customer service', who didn't believe me! I then sent him photos and he finally apologised and said he'd send a replacement. That was a month and a half ago.

Terrible policy

Purchased a pair of pants 10 days later they were on sale the store manager refused to price adjust and when I called the customer service line they said they leave this up to the stores discretion. I’ve been a retail store manager my entire adult life and I’ve never heard of something so ridiculous.
